Sleeping disturbances such as tossing and turning, feeling restless at bed, being awake, and inability to get that continuous stretch of sleep may be termed as insomnia. The problem is common amongst the forty plus age group though younger people undergoing stress may also develop symptoms. Mild insomnia symptoms can be taken care of at home. Avoid the use of alcohol, caffeine, do not indulge in day sleep, and make sure to have an early & light dinner. Keep the bedroom appearance nice and cosy. Eliminate disturbing thought that arise in the mind either by reading something light or listening to soothing music. Such measures are bound to get you a sound sleep at night.
