The media floods you with a never-ending heap of information. The role of media is supposed to be objective by educating us through information though this does not happen all the time. The television, Internet, Newspapers, Radio, Magazines, Newsletters etc. have spread their coverage touching every nook and corner of the world. However this does not mean that the media is always correct. It is important that we be in touch with media, but we should not get swayed away by sensationalism. Children should be restricted from watching or surfing adult-related topics, but definitely be encouraged to read the newspapers, watch television news, and surf the Internet for access to appropriate information.
